How will the session run?

We will all meet at Mount Majura Vineyard (88, Lime Kiln Road, Majura ACT 2609) Park in the parking lot and make your way past the cellar door and you will see a gate to the Vineyard where you will need to spray your shoes before entering to stop contamination. Please make sure you arrive 10 minutes early so you are ready to go. If you are late we may have to cut your session short for the next session to start on time. I will capture you amongst the vines together! Most of my photography I get you to have fun and relax.. But i will capture everyone looking at me as well. If you have anything in mind please let me know and i will try my best to capture it!

For the little ones its a great idea to have some games/songs in mind if they are a little shy or take time to warm up. I am known for singing (very off key) a bit of wiggles or wheels on the bus! Don’t worry if they are having a moment or a tantrum just try to relax and let me guide you, i have 3 of my own, all with special needs so nothing phases me!

Just remember I'm there to capture you, just you. Not who you think you should be in front of the camera - so just be yourself.

Afterwards why don’t you stop by the Cellar door to taste their wines with over ten wines to try, accompanied by a small cheese and charcuterie (or vegan) plate and costs $20 per person. We allow 60 minutes. https://www.mountmajura.com.au/reservation/

What do I wear? Do I need to go shopping?

Well any excuse I say to go shopping, but really you will probably have that perfect outfit in your wardrobe already. A lot of families like to have a few Christmas themed outfits while others keep it neutral for the family photos without the Christmas backdrop. You can always bring a few props to add for the Christmas part! Otherwise Keeping things simple, classic and neutral and wearing what makes you feel good. You don't have to be matchy matchy but complimenting each other is perfect. Think textures like linen, denim & knits. But most of all be comfortable and just remember - these photos will be around and hanging on your walls, so you probably don't want a 'Just Do It' logo across your t-shirt! Ok we had a great session now what happens?

After your session, I will have a sneak peek ready for you within 48 hours on my Instagram/Facebook pages. Then you will receive your gallery within 2 weeks of your 20 images. Please save them and back them up, as I only keep them for 2 months.

In regard to printing, I suggest using my professional printer and not your local 1 hour printing place, as the colours will not be like what you see on your screen. You can access my store from your online gallery and delivery is super quick straight to your door! Check out more information on printing here
